Say goodbye, say hello!
I've
said goodbye to fancy dinners,
said goodbye to pretty dresses,
said goodbye to sleeping through the night, and
said goodbey to the movie theatres.
I've also,
said goodbye to shopping alone,
said goodbye to happy hours with girls,
said goodbye to being spontaneous, and
said goodbye to a nicely clean house.
Instead, I've
said hello to holding an angel in my arms,
said hello to baby smell next to my pillows,
said hello to wet kisses, and
said hello to hugs that come with smeared bananas.
I've also,
said hello to teary goodbyes,
said hello to toothless smiles,
said hello to tiny yet chubby hands and feet, and
said hello to being able to love someone
completely and unconditionally for the very first time!
