Cousin Esther's mystery baby @ 在小小的房間說恩典的故事

So one of the most exciting things I learned last year was that my closest cousin, Esther, is having a baby.
However, my excitement soon turned to (semi-)bitterness
when she and her hubby wouldn't reveal the gender of the baby.
I think her sister, Edith, is more mad at her than I am though, understandably.
(I'm just kidding, half-way, haha..)

Anyway, this "mystery baby" is due March 18
and we had a little get together with friends over the weekend with her.

Esther doesn't want a baby shower because her house is already stocked
with all kind of hand-my-downs that if she were to have a twin, (you're only having 1, right?)
that the stuff she has would still be enough.

So, without much help from her of what she needs
and not knowing the gender of the golden kid,
all of us just gave gifts blindly
(I'm surprised no one came up with dog food...)

My sister, Jean, and I went in together and gave her a prenatal massage package and a little hoodie for the kid.

Judy, Faith's mother, and Margaret, Christine & Luke's mother both came up with the most original idea:
