Since we were not going home right away last night because we had to go for the Bergamo school overview,
and for the rare occasion that we didn’t have to take Noelle either, we decided to just go out for dinner.

One of the places we’ve been wanting to try was one of my favorite basketball players,
Chris Webber’s, restaurant called Center Court
I guess part of me still wish to be connected to Chris in whatever way I could
because I admire him so much even though he’s left Sacramento Kings for a while now.

Going to Center Court really brought the inner fire of that old Kings fan back.
I was excited, jumping up and down, and taking pictures everywhere.
I know the Kings aren't doing so hot,
and it's been a while since I watched a full game with knotts in my stomach.
However, watching basketball has been a life-long interest of me,
and going into the place was fasinating in itself.

We got sat at the Tim Duncan table, and since he's a NBA great as well, it was a pleasure to dine with him~~

As long as Timmy doesn't play the Kings, he's alright in my book!

There it was, CWebb's Kings jersey hanging right in front of me.

I got quite emotional looking at the jersey. Chris has always been a classic guy, not just a basketball player.
Sure he's not perfect and had his share of trouble,
but just the fact that he tries to say hi to his mother whenver he's being interviewed on TV makes me smile.
Oh..and his smile just melts my heart!

Now onto the food item. We couldn't decide what we want, so we'd order some calamari first as appitizer.
Hubby was very pleased with this dish as none of the calamari came out burnt.
The sauce was a bit different than most of the other sauces we've had, but all in all, a very good dish.

 Yummy~~

Being a die hard fan of CWebb, I had to order CWebb's game day chicken sandwich.
They said he has this three hours before every game! (Yeah...right...)

Can't forget the garlic fries!

Hubby also got a CWebb's double double. It was pretty good as well but I didn't bother to take a picture of it haha..

Chris recently signed with the Detroit Pistons and will most likely finish
the rest of his basketball playing days with them.
It's a welcome home thing for Chris as he was born, raise, and played his college basketball there in Michigan.
I wish him all the best!

Thanks Chris! For everything you are and well, the food.
