老媽其實並不時常煮飯﹐
不過呢﹐只要一有機會進廚房﹐
小小就會想當然爾的也要來七手八腳的“幫幫忙”。
我很相信讓孩子從小就習慣有機會幫忙分攤家務﹐
就算是小小這麼丁點兒大的孩子﹐
也可以因為有所參與而覺得有趣進而培養她的責任感。
Yes yes I know...it's a bit early.
But Noelle's grandma is ready and has been showing her
the wonders (ick...) of toilet sitting.
I remember the first time I tried putting Noelle on the toilet,
she was terrified.

那頂帽子是擋水用的﹐很不錯喔!
So I tried to take the pacifier away from Noelle this past Saturday.
Along with that, I tried to switch her to drinking milk from cups exclusively.
Maybe I was aiming too high. 
I tried to "prep" her by telling her that her 嘴嘴 (paci) is now gone.
And asked her to say goodbye.
It’s official! Noelle visited the public library for the first time today!
I had set myself out to find her some touch and feel books because she really likes those at home.
However, I found that the books at the library are more for reading (duh!) instead of just pictures with minimal words.
Noelle was really not into sitting down or finding herself a book.
It was Vikki's little "bun in the over" shower Satruday
and they'd set up a little kiddie pool for all the kids to enjoy.
I have to say at times I really wanted to jump in too...

I thought it was cute so I put it on Noelle's head.
But I don't think she really likes it...what do you think?
小小那麼小﹐腦子用不到兩年﹐可她也不簡單﹐有她的邏輯。
車庫門一響﹐小小如看不到Dada﹐只見媽媽﹐就會大叫 “Dada!”﹐反之亦然。
若倆人都在﹐就會叫“姨!姨!”。(我妹妹有車庫開關)
Pretty revealing dress if you ask me.
But sure is cute.
And those sausages...I mean, arms...yummmmmm....
IKEA is one of my fav. stores.
I think it'll soon be Noelle's too.
We vistited the newly opened IKEA in West Sac yesterday
Weather has finally turned around in California.
Noelle WALKED to the nearest playground next to our house
and we enjoyed the outing very very much.
I ran around like a headless chick
this Easter the past Sunday
because I actually had to sing in the choir that day.
Well...you tell me.
Does Noelle look like she's about to kick some butt
with that chun-li hair do
or what?
爸爸在小小還在媽媽肚子裡的時候﹐
常常告訴媽媽他等不及小小出世﹐等不及牽牽小小的手走路﹐上我們家的樓梯。
媽媽總是笑他--還早啦﹗
那天媽媽走去買東西﹐沒多想的和小小說﹕小小﹐媽媽牽牽﹗
小小也很自然的把手遞給媽媽﹐讓媽媽牽著走了一會。
我常常告訴很多北比還不太會走路或說話的馬麻們﹐The later the better﹗
北比嘛﹐會走了就得追。
走得不好時﹐要擔心他們跌﹐走得好時﹐要擔心他們拿/拉/打/吃/東西﹐
走得再好一點﹐就要跑他們不動了。
這是越晚走路越好的證據。
